NOT READY TO GRADUATE
Still enrolled in life & not dropping out anytime soon

What’s in a name?
Shakespeare suggested a name is just a label—but we see it differently. A name carries identity, meaning, and intention. So when two adults over 60 decided to create a space to share experiences, we asked ourselves:
What do we call it—and why?
We chose “Not Ready to Graduate.”
A little humorous, but deeply true—we’re not ready to graduate from life just yet.
Why It Matters
Life is built around milestones—school, career, family, retirement. We’re taught to move from one goal to the next. But eventually, we reach a point where we ask:
What’s next? What are we graduating to?
This Stage of Life
Transitions can feel uncertain. Roles change, routines shift, and identity can feel less defined.
But this phase isn’t just about endings—it’s also about reflection, growth, and possibility. As Erikson described, later life is a time to find meaning, purpose, and acceptance. When we do, we gain wisdom and fulfillment.
Evolution, Not Graduation
Life doesn’t have to end in a final “graduation.” It can continue as an evolution. We are still learning. Still growing. Still becoming.
Our Message
We’re not ready to graduate. We’re here to keep exploring, stay engaged, and live fully—approaching this stage of life with curiosity, purpose, and a sense of humor.
